NEW YORK, NY (Oct. 14, 2019) - Live Nation and FunGuys Events announced the return of Long Island’s favorite holiday tradition, Magic of Lights, coming back to Jones Beach State Park from November 22 through January 4. Jones Beach will once again shine bright as guests weave through the spectacular 2.5-mile drive-through holiday lights display with new light features, the Toyota Holiday Village and more. A complete schedule and ticket information is available at www.magicoflights.com.
The Magic of Lights drive-through experience, presented by New York Community Bank, will feature themed light displays using the latest LED technology and digital animations, including the all new drive through Blizzard Tunnel as well as returning favorites including 12 Days of Christmas, Winter Wonderland and The Night Before Christmas. Families and friends will experience the thrill of Magic of Lights from the comfort of their own cars as they wind through its course in one of New York’s most beautiful natural settings.
A special feature of the 2019 Magic of Lights at Jones Beach is the Toyota Holiday Village in its new location, where guests will walk through a winter wonderland of hot cocoa, s’mores by the fire pit, game room, the return of the fan favorite Diamond Snow Dogs, the new s’ELFie Walk and Candy Cane Lane, pictures with Santa himself and much more. New to the Holiday Village this year are the Illuminating Mega Trees, which will dazzle fans with over 240 feet of synchronized lights and music.
“Live Nation is so excited to once again partner with FunGuys Events and New York State Parks to light up Jones Beach this holiday season,” said Alan Ostfield, President of Live Nation North Atlantic. “We look forward to continuing to be a part of our Long Island communities’ holiday traditions.”
“The Magic of Lights has become the holiday tradition for Long Islanders and the New York Metropolitan area residents.” said George Gorman, the Long Island Regional Director of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. He added “Tens of thousands of families look forward to this program each year.”
Magic of Lights will open each day from dusk and run through 10pm Sunday through Thursday and until 11pm on Friday and Saturday. Some exclusions may apply - please visit www.magicoflights.com for a complete schedule. Admission is $25 per vehicle Monday - Thursday and $30 Friday – Sunday (including fees).
