It's Thursday (week 26), and first week of in-person schooling for Tyler. Such a strange feeling as the kids said hello to each other (no hugs), lined up at the school door, and waited to get their temperature checked before being allowed inside the school hallways. I do hope that seeing their friends and teachers, helps offset the constant reminder of wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and this 'new normal' of how the school year will be. Must say, our kids are resilient during these challenging times, and no doubt, will they will make the most of it.
As today marks the eve of 9/11, LET'S NEVER FORGET and honor those lost on that tragic day 19 years ago.
