It's Thursday evening, Jan 7th. I shared on FB, tips on how to talk to your kids about the violence that happened at the Capitol. Tyler remembered we spent 5 weeks in DC over a year ago and asked right away what is happening in the news. He couldn't understand and even now, I don't fully grasp how it was allowed to happen. This is a tough topic to discuss and I kept it simple for him. I'm sure with a lot of work going forward, understanding, and change, things will improve (so I hope.)
